Hautaven is an independent international company established in West Africa, specifically at Cotonou in Benin Republic. We supply beekeeping products and natural raw materials such as beeswax and honey. And quality and precision in the know-how are our motto.

Our industry is located at Porto-Novo, the capital of the country. We work in partnership with agricultural cooperatives and NGOs and laboratories, especially national ones: BFSA (Benin Food Security Authority) which certify every cargo of beeswax and honey intended for national consumption or exportation.

Base on these national facilities, Hautaven is able to meet its customers requirements in quality and quantity.
Our Products
Apiculture, also known as beekeeping, involves the cultivation of bees within hives. Bees collect nectar from various plants and flowers in their environment and produce several products inside the hive. The hive yields six key products: honey, wax, propolis, royal jelly, venom, and pollen. These substances serve as raw materials for numerous industries worldwide.
Currently, only two of these products are being marketed and selled by Hautaven.
Beeswax
Beeswax is among the oldest synthetic raw materials and is currently utilized in technical applications as well as an additive in the cosmetic, pharmaceutical, and food industries. Its appearance, characteristics, and uses vary based on its nature and origin.
Hautaven provides natural beeswax that is free from chemical additives or smoke contamination.
Honey
Hautaven is a company aiming to become the leader in the international market for African honey production.
We prioritize our customers by supplying products that comply with legal and regulatory standards, while also meeting their specific requirements.

The choice of raw materials
In order to achieve our goals of sustainable development, we have as maker, agricultural cooperatives and NGOs that share our objectives. They manufacture and we systematically control and analyze our raw materials in accordance with applicable standards and regulations.
Analyses and controls are performed by recognized and accredited laboratories.
Quality Control and hygiene
In order to guarantee you a healthy and neat product, we implement controls at each level (receiving packaging and shipping).
Indeed, hygiene rules are defined for the whole staffs.
Traceability
The use of a digital traceability system allows us to ensure reliable upstream and downstream visibility, from goods’ production and shipping.
Perfection is not a predisposition so; we are still pushing our effort to set up a better way to optimize our products.
